Governor Schwarzenegger and Prop 8
Update on Proposition 8 Governor Schwarzenegger has publicly stated that he is against Proposition 8 and hopes that the California Supreme Court will overturn the will of the people. Know Your Elected Officials
Exodus 18:21 says "Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. " If that is what Jethro instructed Moses to lead God's people then, how much more do we need it now?
That is why it is important for us as believers to know who we are looking to elect and what they stand for. So I am including a few links below for you to review before you go to the polls on Tuesday:
1. Local California Issues:
Bills that have been up for vote in California's Assembly and Senate for 2008. It is an eye-opener. Especially take a look at your tax dollars on SB1301 and AB 2654, especially take a look at the "talking points".

This is a great tool to find out which elected official is in your area.

This web site provides a 3 minute video on a Biblical response to those who aren't sure if voting is for us as believers as well as a wealth of resources for voting on a national and local level.

Know What You're Voting For
I have talked to many people who have said they have found this blog useful, but they don't know exactly how to use it.
To put it succinctly, instead of having to come to the blog to see if it has been updated you can simmply subscribe as one of the followers to the blog. That way you can receive an e-mail from the blog with the latest information and updates as they happens.
Simply, look right below the logo to the "subscriber" section where it says, "Follow This Blog", input your email address, and you will receive an e-mail each time new information is posted. I will try to keep this as relevant and to the point so as not to waste your time. In the next 24-48 hours there will be ALOT of information coming out pertaining to the election, so forward it to friends and family, make sure you are informed, and vote Biblically!
